Best Practice Sharing & COVID-19 Initiatives

#WhenTheMaskComesOff Initiative
The DThomas Clinic has launched their #WhenTheMaskComesOff initiative! The scheme offers NHS workers who have suffered irritated or sore skin through wearing PPE one skin treatment per day for at least a month at their clinic, because it's possible NHS workers won't have any time or ability to do any self-care treatments, yet they are caring for all of us.

If you are interested please contact Debbie at DThomas Clinic and she will send you more details, also please share details and spread the word to others who might be interested. There's an Instagram page @whenthemaskcomesoff - please follow this page if you're interested in helping or offering treatments.

Isolation Skincare Survival Packs

Pure Skin and Laser are sending out 'Isolation Skincare Survival Packs' with a lovely selection of trial size Exuviance products that their clients can use to give their skin a 'home spa' treatment. They have also included a bottle of Clinisept+ Aftercare for antimicrobial protection.

To increase engagement throughout lockdown, they have been sharing their ideas and skincare protocol videos across their social media pages. Watch their Exuviance® and LightStim® LED for Wrinkles home protocol here.

The Nightingale Treatment

Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is an absolute must for NHS staff in the fight against COVID 19, but this has left many front line workers suffering from bruising and breakouts.

To help skin recover, Aesthetician Dija Ayodele has developed the Nightingale Treatment Initiative and pledged to treat thirty local front line staff to complimentary facial treatments when social distancing guidelines are relaxed. This is a fantastic way to say thank you to our hard-working NHS, so if you would like to get involved with a treatment pledge, please visit www.thenightingaletreatment.com
